The Journal of Infection and Chemotherapy (JIC) -- official journal of the Japanese Society of Chemotherapy and The Japanese Association for Infectious Diseases -- welcomes original papers, laboratory or clinical, as well as case reports and notes from all parts of the world on all aspects of chemotherapy, covering the pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, and control of infection, including treatment with anticancer drugs. Experimental studies on animal models and pharmacokinetics, and reports on epidemiology and clinical trials are particularly welcome. Papers will be received on the understanding that: they have not been published in whole or in part elsewhere, they are subject to review by at least two referees and the Editors, authors agree to editorial revision in regard to the language and contents, and the Editors are responsible for their acceptance and rejection and their order of publication. When relevant, authors must include a statement regarding the ethical aspects of their research.
